Whatever you're goal you'll find it easier working with a personal trainer and you'll reduce the time until you achieve your goal. Actually there are statistics that your 50% more likely to achieve your goal if you do. I'll help you to stay motivated and enjoying your programme and we'll use my expertise to vary things from time to time to keep you fresh. By watching you closely i make sure that you learn the exercises correctly and safely and get the most out of them so that you are sooner at your goal.
That depends what you are trying to achieve and how often you exercise between sessions, but most people start noticing the benefits almost immediately by feeling great and having more energy. Change in the body takes a little longer but certainly within 6-8 weeks you'll be starting to look at a new you in the mirror.
That's completely up to you. Most clients prefer to start by meeting more often initially and then spacing sessions more as they become more confident to work on their own. Typically that might mean twice a week for the first couple of weeks then once a week or every couple of weeks after. I'm really flexible - after all it's your programme and it needs to suit your own circumstances.
The consultation is free and gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little and for me to answer to your questions or any doubts. If you decide to go ahead, I'll need to spend some time understanding more about your current and past health, your lifestyle, your preferences and your circumstances. I need to understand what you want to achieve because that will affect how i design the programme and we'll build in some smaller step goals along the way too. Lots of clients prefer not to work in a gym because they don't enjoy the atmosphere and while initially they enjoy it, soon it becomes too easy not to make the special journey. I prefer to work outdoors wherever possible or at your home working with exercises that you can do anywhere at anytime. That way you'll find it easier to fit them into your schedule and are much more likely to acheive your goal. And you don't pay membership fees!
If you have any equipment you like it would be a good idea to use it as part of your programme to help exercise between sessions, but I'll bring any equipment we need and if you are starting out and want to buy, i'll even give you some helpful hints on buying it.
